Internship/practicum opportunity

Seeking self-motivated, talented graduate student to work for a start-up public health consulting firm. Projects include working with local and state level health departments and universities on evaluation, strategic planning, and programming planning. Current projects are focused on evaluating a subsequent teen pregnancy prevention program, and designing a primary teen pregnancy prevention strategy. Options for a primary teen pregnancy reduction strategy include taking a direct service approach or population based approach. We are looking for a student who can add to the discussion and help determine which approach to
Roles and responsibilities include the
·      Assists with the program planning for a statewide primary teen prevention program;
·      Conducting literature reviews and write-ups independently;
·      Writing report introductions, executive reports, and discussion sections;
·      Creating logic models;
·      Entering data;
·      Descriptive data analysis and creating tables for inclusion in final reports;
·      Aiding in all other aspects of program
Students will be expected to meet deliverables and deadlines on time and to be present at all meetings. Telecommuting is permissible, as long as the deliverables and deadlines are met in a professional manner.
