- Minimum Qualifications;
- A PhD in epidemiology, public health or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Description–Research
- Develop,implement,and pursue an active research program
- Actively seek external funding for research
- Advise and supervise medical students pursuing research projects
- Special consideration given to candidates with research focus in maternal/child health
- Description–Teaching
- Formulate and deliver learning activities for all HCOM campuses in the faculty's discipline
- Grade problem sets for medical students
- Grade short answer test questions for medical students
- Write test questions for learning activities
- Facilitate case based discussion groups for medical students
- Facilitate classroom discussions in Dublin for problem sets originating in Athens
- Serve on planning teams for curriculum development
- Description–Service
- Serve on HCOM committees
- Serve community organizations
- Serve as a general advisor to medical students in Dublin as needed
