The Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus (CAPAC) seeks an energetic and highly-organized Press Assistant to join an active press operation.
Responsibilities include: drafting press releases, writing statements and speeches, managing the caucus’s online presence, and coordinating joint press activities with various offices.
Qualifications: candidates must be professional, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication, writing, people and organizational skills. Top candidates should also be able to demonstrate the ability to multi-task, work well in fast-paced settings, and act as a team player. Prior press, Hill, social media, and web experience is a plus. Candidates must be willing to work hours as needed by the office and the Chair.
