Evaluation Coordinator, UCSF

LocationSan Francisco, CA

FAMILY AND COMMUNITY MEDICINE
Our department's mission is to educate students and residents in family medicine with an emphasis on meeting the needs of the economically disadvantaged and the medically underserved; to advance knowledge in family and community medicine; and develop methods of primary care that are effective, efficient, and accessible to all people.

JOB OVERVIEW
The UCSF Department of Family and Community Medicine at San Francisco General Hospital is hiring an Evaluation Coordinator at the Analyst II level to support the design, implementation and compliance of residency program evaluations. The ideal candidate will have experience in evaluation management, preferably in a healthcare or academic setting. The American Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) recently revised their accreditation system for Family Medicine Residencies. As part of the new requirements, residencies are expected to gather data about each resident’s progress along a prescribed set of learning milestones and use those data to evaluate each resident’s milestone level twice annually. These levels are to be assigned by a committee of faculty and staff and then reported to the ACGME. This position was created in response to these changes, to oversee evaluation assignment, coordinate data gathering and organization, monitor compliance and compile bi-monthly reports for committee review. The position will also be responsible for developing and implementing evaluation processes for resident seminars and lectures, faculty preceptors, and other components of the residency program.
