University Commencement Website
Everything you need to know about commencement is available at the University's official commencement website: www.luc.edu/commencement . There you will find a link to the Graduate School which includes eligibility for participation. Other information includes academic apparel orders, hotel accommodations, guest information, etc.
Hotels
Chicago will be hosting the National Restaurant Association Show on May 5-8, 2012, and a NATO Summit Meeting on May 15 - 22. Due to the scheduling of these prominent events in the Chicago area, hotel rooms may be difficult to secure. Our Special Events Office has information regarding hotels on their website: http://www.luc.edu/commencement/guests_general_information.shtml#hotel. Please make arrangements for relatives as early as possible to avoid a conflict.
Public Transportation
The Loyola "L" station will be under construction/renovation during commencement weekend. While the station will still be running, please allow enough time for congestion delays and travel to campus.
Commencement Registration
Graduate School students with August 2011, December 2011, May 2012 or August 2012 degree conferral will receive an email to their LUC GroupWise account from "Loyola University Chicago"
February 13: Online registration opens (registration link sent by email)
April 13: Deadline to register online by 5:00 p.m.
