Health Policy Clinical Policy Administrator

The American College of Physicians (ACP) is a prestigious medical membership association headquartered in Philadelphia. It is our aim to enhance the quality and effectiveness of healthcare by fostering excellence and professionalism in the practice of internal medicine.

We are seeking a committed professional familiar with clinical or health research to assist in activities related to performance measurement and clinical guidelines.

Qualifications:
  •  Support activities related to guideline development and performance measurement.
  • Perform literature reviews and analyze articles critically. 
  • Prepare agendas, identify content, write minutes and reports for meetings. 
  • Assist in editing, proofreading, and development of original papers produced by the department. 
  • Create and maintain database of evidence-based references. 

 Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree, though a Master’s degree is preferred in Health Services Research or Public Health. Candidates must have ability to do literature searches using MedLine and bibliographic software (such as EndNote) data management, and data analysis. Excellent editorial, proofreading skills, and attention to detail required. Expertise in Word, Excel and Powerpoint as well as project management skills and ability to handle multiple assignments are essential. Familiarity with clinical guidelines and performance measurement is highly desirable.
