The Educational Grants Specialist will be responsible for the development and maintenance of a process for identification of educational grants and the preparation and management of grant proposals. The specialist will develop grant response(s) including but not limited to grant writing, submission and tracking. They will also be interfacing as needed with internal and external stakeholders to respond to grant opportunities and fulfill grant requirements. In addition, the Educational Grants Specialist will manage awarded grants providing project management services including project schedules, status reporting, and tactical support.
  • Supervise grant projects.
  • Create project planning documents.
  • Convene internal and external stakeholders to develop project deliverables.
  • Implement systematic research process to identify evidence-based educational grant opportunities.
  • Document professional performance gaps in conjunction with subject matter experts as a basis for grant proposals.
  • Prepare grant proposals including writing, editorial, submission and tracking.
  • Conduct periodic budget assessment to ascertain financial performance against objectives, analyzing variance and initiates corrective actions.
  • Monitor expenses and revenues in order to meet and/or exceed budgetary goals working with the Director of Education Design and Technology.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable, AMA, ACCME and MOC guidelines for Continuing Medical Education (CME) accreditation and certification requirements.
