Dr. Adrienne Ettinger from the Department of Environmental Health, Harvard School of Public Health, Boston, Massachusetts and the Channing Laboratory, Department of Medicine, Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts will present:
"Influence of Environmental Exposures as Risk Factors for Diabetes and Obesity"
In this talk, Dr. Ettinger will discuss results on prenatal arsenic exposure as a risk factor for diabetes & obesity {using data from research at the Tar Creek Superfund Site (Oklahoma, U.S.)} with reference to the NIEHS/NTP Workshop on the Role of Environmental Chemicals in the Development of Diabetes/Obesity.
