Mktg Proj Assistant

Good summer internship opportunity for a masters of public health student. The American Hospital Association (AHA) is a national organization that represents and serves all types of hospitals, health care networks, and their patients and communities. We are currently seeking a Summer Intern Marketing Project Assistant for AHA Solutions, Inc., in our Chicago office. The Intern Marketing Project Assistant will assist with facilitating relationship management and market research with healthcare organizations and strategic partners of the AHA.

  • The Intern will have direct interaction with healthcare organizations through phone calls and written correspondence to communicate products/services and events. 
  • Use contact management system to track activity, update leads and report progress of projects.
  • Prepare status reports on prominent healthcare concerns, news and events to prepare field staff for hospital site visits. 
  •  Participate in training as necessary to keep up to date on new product and program development; cross-train and performs other tasks as assigned.
  • May also participate in market research--develop product/concept research and satisfaction surveys and scripts for use in research; analyze client data and prepare associated product related research reports.

Requirements

  • College student seeking Summer Temporary Internship 
  •  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  •  Good organizational, analytical, writing, and computer skills (experience with Microsoft Office suite preferred 
  •  Work equally well independently or as part of a project team Self-motivated and assertive 
  •  Able to manage several tasks and work in an entrepreneurial environment
